Delete your Dinner Time data

Soupbone Labs · Dinner Time Android app

Dinner Time does not use accounts. Most of your information stays on your phone. Use the steps below to delete it.

How to delete data on your device

  1. Open the Dinner Time app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap “Delete all my data.”

That removes ingredients, recipe history, favorites, shopping list, cooking feedback, preferences, and the anonymous identifier stored by Dinner Time on your device. Uninstalling Dinner Time also removes this local app data.

How to request deletion of data on Soupbone Labs systems

Email soupbonelabs@gmail.com and ask us to delete Dinner Time data associated with you.

We may have recipe reports (recipe identifier, title, report reason, and time) and short-lived infrastructure logs (IP address, timestamp, request path, and response status). Dinner Time does not save scan photos or recipe-request content in an application database. Because there is no account, we may not be able to match a log entry to you unless you can point us to a specific report or time.

What is deleted, kept, or retained

Deleted on the device when you use Settings or uninstall: pantry items, history, favorites, shopping list, feedback, preferences, and the on-device identifier.

Not stored by Soupbone Labs in an app database: fridge or pantry photos and the recipe prompts sent to Google Gemini.

Retained until Google Cloud logging retention expires, then deleted: infrastructure logs used for security, rate limiting, and diagnostics. Recipe reports are kept in restricted logs for safety review, then deleted with those logs.

Dinner Time uses Google Gemini’s unpaid service. Google may keep submitted content and generated responses under Google’s own terms. Soupbone Labs cannot delete data from Google’s systems on your behalf. See the Dinner Time Privacy Policy and Gemini API Additional Terms.
